What is LEDStudio?

LEDStudio is a free LED software that combines an intuitive interface with sophisticated technology to allow users to edit and play programs for the LED display faster, safer, simpler, and easier. Since the first version was released by Linsn, a company known for producing LED display control systems. It features a wide array of advanced functionalities such as program management, notification management, score management, schedule management, hardware settings, display testing, and lots more. Ever since it was first launched, LEDstudio has been designed as a professional tool that helps Linsn users create various play programs for LED display which consists of many bright LEDs. It supports most Linsn products such as sending cards (TS921, TS902, TS801, etc), receiver cards (RV320A, RV998, RV908M32, RV908H, RV907, RV901, RV801, RV216B, etc),  sender box (TS852D, TS951, TS952, TS16, TS12, TS08, TS962, TS952 Plus, etc), video processors (X8208, X8212, X8216, X8406, X8408, X8414, X200, X100, X8000, X2000, X1000, etc). Besides, it has received several updates over the last few years that have given it powerful abilities to be compatible with the new products that are announced every year.

Easy to Use Operating Interface

LEDStudio is one of the oldest LED display control software on the market. The first aspect you’ll notice when opening this software is the intuitive and simple interface which consists of four main areas:

1. Menu: From the menu, you can access most features of LEDStudio and from here you can handle files, change play control such as play and pause, select tools such as words, Excell, calculator, paint, and notepad, and define parameters like software setup, display configuration, hardware setting, and language setting, configure LED display tests such as aging test, grey test, dot test, grid test, and color test, and find help from the knowledge menu if you have any problems.
2. Toolbar: Allows you to quickly access the most useful operating such as “New File”, “Open File”, “Save File”, “Play”, “Pause”, “Stop”, “monitor”, “Release Program”, and even “Hide Play Window” with one-step-click.
3. Program Window: The Program Window shows all your programs in a tree structure making it easy to organize your LED programs such as step display and universal display. Here you can create, delete, edit, copy, move up, or move down LED programs and steps as you want. From the step display, you can control each window display, for example, file window, text window, single line text window, database window, and more.
4. Play Window: Show the contents of the current LED program with a simulated screen.

Multiple Ways to Create Programs

With a simple interface and left-right layout, LEDStudio allows you to enjoy a seamless creating experience. After several generations of updates and optimizations, the latest release makes it easier to create different programs in a wide variety of ways such as a file,  image, video, flash, table, timmer, database, VCD/DVD, external EXE software, date/time and more to meet various display applications.  In addition, it supports all commonly used file formats like web files, excel, PowerPoint, word, media, music,  picture, and many other playable files.

Integrated Testing Function

With LEDStudio, the LED display test is very easier. LEDStudio features multiple test ways to allow users to test the display quickly and efficiently. Users can use it to configure grey tests or aging tests with various colors such as Red, Green, Blue, and White. In addition, testing time, customized colors, and position settings are available for aging tests. So you can have more control to improve testing performance. Other ways such as dot test, grid test, and color bar test are also included to make sure users can make the most of it.

As said above, LEDStudio provides a simple and plain interface that is easy enough to operate for everyone no matter what their level of LED display is. In addition, built-in help documents and beginner-oriented knowledge tips enable users to check at any time when they want to have a detailed guide and shortcut.

Support Window Splitting

Moreover, the new version added a powerful function, named “Split WND”,  which can allow users to split big-scale window displays into multiple small windows as they want to. It supports split by length or height and even the number of split windows can be set up to five, which is enough to meet most requirements for various LED displays.

Simple and Easy Reset Mechanism

Once you have made the wrong or uncertain parameters or even if the software LEDStudio malfunctions, you can always reset the parameters to the initial mode with a click of a button. This helps you better understand the meaning and purpose of each parameter after making some changes, but you can reset it at any time.

Fast and Efficient Backup Function

LEDStudio offers an easy but efficient backup function to allow users to have multiple versions of programs saved on the computer. When users have created a great program and they can easily back up this program with all the same settings and content. This feature is similar to “Save As” in most software, you can load one of the programs for editing but keep the original one.
